ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND ELEMENT FOR ATTACHMENT TO HUMAN SKIN Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61F5/44 A61L24/00 A61L24/04 A61L15/58 C09J151/00 B32B27/00 B32B27/30 B32B27/32

Abstract RU 2763497 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the creation of an adhesive composition intended for providing the attachment to the human skin and an element for the attachment of a container for collecting organism fluids. The adhesive composition contains a continuous phase and a dispersed phase of hydrocolloids. The continuous phase contains, by weight, per the total weight of the adhesive composition: (i) from 1 to 12 wt. % of block-copolymer of a styrene-isoprene-styrene or styrene-butadiene-styrene type, (ii) (a) from 1 to 15 wt.% of polymer of an elastomeric butyl type, optionally in a mixture with up to 25 wt.% of polymer of a poly-isobutylene type, or (b) from more than 10 wt.% to 30 wt.% of polymer of a poly-isobutylene type that does not contain polymer of an elastomeric butyl type, (iii) from 1 to less than 10 wt.% of polymer of an ethylene-vinyl acetate type. In total, polymers of the above-mentioned three types are from 10 to 40 wt.%. In the adhesive composition, polar oil is essentially absent and/or a polar phase is less than 10 wt.%. The composition contains from 40 to 60 wt.% of the dispersed phase of hydrocolloids.

EFFECT: obtaining a composition, characterized in high “adhesiveness”, to provide the possibility of quick application to the skin, tight attachment by means of tight fit to the stomach surface in order to withstand the weight of the container and other limits imposed by it, as well as coupling for removal without difficult and without a trace.
