The proposed sports shoes with a protective element of a flat sole are made by the method in which the blank of the upper of the shoe is assembled, a set-in insole is attached to the blank of the upper with a stitch seam, the blank of the upper is put on the last and connected to the flat sole, while to the open groove located along the entire perimeter of the flat sole , attach a leather lip with a thread seam, forming a connecting knot, smear the upper blank and a flat sole with a leather lip with a single primer glue and connect them for preliminary fixation, remove the blank from the shoe, fix the upper edge of the leather lip with a thread seam to the upper blank along the entire perimeter of the shoe.

EFFECT: increasing the strength of the connection between the elements of sports shoes and the wear resistance of the sole surface, increasing the area of ​​distribution of the load, ensuring the safety of shoes, the convenience of the intra-shoe space, the softness and elasticity of the top of the models.
