FIELD: shoe production, in particular, stitching-casting method of producing shoes from leather with cover. SUBSTANCE: method involves partially splitting off lower edge of top part so as to form outer layer with face cover and inner layer; cutting off excessive portions from outer layer; stitching-in insole to inner layer to define three-dimensional part; attaching lower part of shoe to top part by casting. During casting, melt mixture flows into space between split-off layers. Lower part is attached only to flesh side of hide, from which top part is manufactured. Method further involves pressing outer layer of three-dimensional part edge by pressure of melt mixture to inner surfaces of matrix halves to cover gap that might appear between top part and jaws of matrix halves. Method allows casting mold cavity to be hermetically sealed regardless of variations in thickness of top part pack and position of extensible shoe relative to matrix halves.
