SUBSTANCE: wide-angle flat, conical and annular axisymmetric diffusers with opening angles αi 10° and degrees of expansion above ni=2 are offered, characterized in that the inner streamlined surfaces of their outer contours are made by narrow and relatively deep rectangular grooves with a width of no more than 2 mm at a depth of no more than 7 mm, evenly spaced over the entire streamlined surface with a wall thickness between the grooves (partitions) ~ 0.5 mm, moreover, in conical and annular diffusers, when the wall thicknesses between the grooves s=2 mm along the longitudinal axis are reached, the number of longitudinal grooves increases on the subsequent streamlined surfaces of the diffusers.
EFFECT: occurrence of separation of the flow from the streamlined surface is significantly reduced, which contributes to overcoming large positive longitudinal pressure gradients.
