FIELD: measuring technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measuring technology and relates to an optical system for determining the composition of aerosols based on the luminescence analysis of aerosol particles. The optical system contains at least one source of exciting radiation with a focusing means, a subsystem for transmitting optical signals from the flow of aerosol particles, a subsystem for spectral separation, and detectors of scattered and luminescent radiation. Light-emitting diodes are used as sources of exciting radiation. The focusing means consists of a converging lens, a guide mirror and an aspherical lens. The optical signal transmission subsystem contains elliptical and spherical mirrors, an optical return element, a diaphragm and a collimating lens. The spectral separation subsystem contains beam-splitting mirrors, a cut-off filter installed after the first beam-splitting mirror, and a neutral light filter installed in front of the scattered radiation receiver.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of collection of radiation and the information content of the optical signal, simplifying the design of the optical system and the requirements for its maintenance.
