FIELD: petroleum industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of petroleum production and can be used to improve the process of switching the direction from producing boreholes to an apparatus for measuring the flow rate of boreholes. Method for upgrading multipass borehole switches (MBS) includes a body with holes for connecting working fluid supply branch pipes, a hydraulic or electric drive that intended for alternately switching the measurement channel to the working fluid branch pipes, wherein other connections are in communicated with the common output to the collector, wherein a set of products intended for upgrading MBS is installed on the existing MBS, characterised by the fact that: a measurement channel is made in the form of an angle bar connected with the hollow shaft, and a mobile carriage blocked from rotation around its own axis by a dowel; the carriage is secured by means of rollers and a spring, abutting against the surface of the body opposite the inlet branch pipe; the system for monitoring the working fluid leakage from the measurement channel into the common collector is made through seals of the valve (carriage); a signal about a leak of the valve is transmitted to the mechanical or electromechanical pressure drop sensor via a system of channels in the valve (carriage), the angle bar, on the shaft, in the cover, and then directed through pulse tubes (the signal on the pressure drop is then transmitted from the sensor to the measurement and information processing unit); the minimum amount of sensors is one, but in order to increase the reliability, an unlimited amount of backup sensors can be used; the amount of valve seals is at least two, wherein one should be made soft, made of polymer materials, the other one should be made of more solid materials; the second seal is pressed by means of a separate wave spring. A set of products intended for upgrading MBS, containing a carriage, springs, an angle bar, a shaft, a cover, pulse tubes, and a pressure drop sensor, installation thereof in accordance with the proposed method allows for an upgrade in the previously manufactured MBS with a structure without a leakage control system.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of operation of the MBS and improvement in the monitoring of the tightness of the seal of the carriage thereof.
