FIELD: heat and power engineering; oil-and-gas industry; chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: valve is intended for emergency opening of pipelines. Valve has a body in the form of local widening of pipeline with branch pipe for coupling of pipeline branches. Valve also includes streamlined core secured coaxially inside body. Core forms through circular channel along with the body. Piston drive with widening chamber which communicates with external source of control pressure is built in core. Valve also contains a shut-off element. The latter is moved by piston drive along axis of body for opening normally-closed through channel. Piston drive cylinder is made moving and piston is stationary. Cylinder is combined with the shut-off element and piston with core. Sealing of piston with cylinder is shaped as plastically deformable bellows secured tightly on the shut-off element with one end and on core, with the other. The shut-off element has airtight permanent joint with the body. It is provided with loose circular jumper. The latter may be broken with subsequent opening of through channel when the shut-off element is moved to "open" position. Valve is held in positions "closed" and "open" reliably without continuous supply of control pressure and no leakage of medium occurs between pipeline branches.
