FIELD: construction and mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and mining and can be used in the development of rocks, strong and frozen soils. The impact ripper includes a base machine, a hinged frame, a hydraulic cylinder, two beams connected to the hinged frame by means of rotation axes with balancing weights and pneumatic hammers installed on them with the ability to move the latter relative to the beam. The ripper is equipped with levers, which on one side are rigidly attached to the beams from the side of the axes of rotation at an angle of 90±5°, and on the opposite side interact with bowls hinged on them, connected to the free ends of elastic elements, the opposite sides of which are fixed on a partition rigidly mounted on top of the hinged frame, and the distance from the axis of rotation of the beam to the axis of symmetry of the pneumatic hammer is determined from the condition of the given dependence.
EFFECT: ensuring an increase in the efficiency of soil loosening due to the tight fit of the percussion tool to the massif at the moment of impact and the maximum redistribution of vibration energy into the massif to be destroyed.
