FIELD: construction; mining.

SUBSTANCE: impact ripper includes a base machine, a hinged frame, a hydraulic cylinder for lifting the hinged frame, two beams connected to the hinged frame and balancing weights and pneumatic hammers installed on them, with the ability to move the latter relative to the beam. The ripper is equipped with fixed and movable supports mounted on a hanging frame, rectangular torsion bars passed through rectangular holes in the movable supports, and rotation bearings installed in the fixed supports. Moreover, one end of the torsion bars is fixed on the protruding part of the hinged frame, and on the other there are bevel gears, designed to engage with bevel wheels mounted on the axes of rotation of the beams. The ripper is also equipped with hydraulic cylinders mounted on a hanging frame and connected to movable supports.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of loosening, maximum transfer of the impact energy of the pneumatic hammer into the soil mass, and reduced impact of loads on the base machine and the operator.
