FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a system for balancing an aircraft and a method for controlling the balancing system. To control the balancing system, settings of balancing during takeoff are determined based on certain takeoff parameters, according to which the orientation of an aircraft stabilizer and the orientation of a steering wheel during takeoff are adjusted. The system contains a controller for controlling balancing, a mechanism for setting the stabilizer orientation mechanically connected to the stabilizer, a mechanism for orienting an elevator mechanically connected to the elevator.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of controlling and reduction in complete stabilizer movement are ensured.
