FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: rack-and-pinion feeding drive of a CNC metal-cutting machine consists of a lubrication system for its mechanisms, including an oil distributor, a hydraulic cylinder with a spring-loaded piston and a rod, an adjustable throttle, a safety valve, a reversible gear pump, an outlet branch pipe of which is connected to a cavity of the hydraulic cylinder and inputs of the throttle and the valve. The drive contains an encoder, an engine, a gear rack, the first and the second gear wheels engaged with the rack and connected to the engine, respectively, by the first and the second parallel kinematic chains, the first of which includes the first oblique cylindrical gear pair, and the second one – the second oblique cylindrical gear pair with gears directed opposite to gears of the first oblique pair. Driving wheels of oblique pairs are fixed on a common shaft with the possibility of axial movement and interaction with the hydraulic cylinder rod, a drive shaft of a hydraulic pump is connected to the first kinematic chain, an encoder drive shaft is connected to the second kinematic chain, and the outlet branch pipe of the throttle is connected to the oil distributor.
EFFECT: increase in the durability and accuracy of the drive stroke is provided.
