FIELD: lighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for autonomous outdoor electric lighting in conditions of negative temperatures, designed to illuminate highways, roads, etc. A method for autonomous lighting at negative ambient temperature, where a lighting lamp is connected by a signal from a light sensor and a motion sensor to a power source in the dark and turned off in the daytime. In the daytime, a non-freezing liquid is heated with solar energy in a heat-insulated container through a transparent heat-insulating window, to which a thermoelectric element is attached with one side in the thermal insulation opening: a source of electricity for a lighting lamp, to the other side of which ambient air is provided. Moreover, the opening in the thermal insulation is automatically closed in the daytime with a heat-insulating screen, in which a hole is made, and opened at night by a signal from the light sensor.
EFFECT: simplification of operation and an increase in the reliability of the autonomous lighting method in conditions of negative temperatures, by accumulating thermal energy from solar energy in the daytime in a non-freezing liquid located in a thermally insulated container, followed by its conversion into electrical energy using a thermoelectric element, which is fed to a lighting lamp.
