FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device contains light-emitting diodes (LED) installed in a sealed case connected to the electric power source, at that the sealed case (SC) is made with transparent protective wall serving as a diffuser and liquid cooling system in the form of closed circulation loop filled with liquid coolant (LC) and equipped with circulating pump and device removing heat from the circulation loop. SC is thermally insulated and filled with LC. Each light-emitting diode is installed in a separate reflector and is equipped with radiator. LEDs have one- or multi-chip semiconductor light sources. The device removing heat from the circulation loop is made as a heat exchanger where heat is removed from LC by means of a compression unit or thermoelectric refrigerating plant. At least one temperature sensor is installed in SC. Transparent non-freezing solution is used as LC.
EFFECT: increase of operational life and enhancement of structure compactness with extended functional capabilities.
