SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electronics and electrical engineering and, in particular, to the terminal and the Type C interface corrosion protection method. The expected result is achieved due to the Type C interface corrosion protection method applied to the processor in the terminal, while the terminal additionally contains an interface chip, the first Type C interface and a motion sensor, the processor is separately connected to the interface chip and the motion sensor, the interface chip is separately connected to the processor and the first Type C interface, while the method contains: control, in accordance with the state of the terminal movement, which is detected by the motion sensor, an interface chip for setting the CC output of the first Type C interface to a low-level mode when it is determined that the state of motion of the terminal changes from the moving state to the static state.
EFFECT: reducing the likelihood of electrochemical corrosion between the CC pin and another pin in the Type C interface.
