FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, namely, veterinary medicine, and is intended for treating and preventing infectious diseases of hooves in animals. Proposed is an aqueous bactericidal composition for preventing and/or treating infectious diseases of hooves in animals based on copper salt, containing the following ratio of components, wt.%: copper sulphate 1.8 to 18, zinc glycinate 0.05 to 0.5, sulphuric acid 0.1 to 1.0, citric acid 0.15 to 1.5, lactic acid 0.11 to 1.1, hydroxyacetic acid 0.11 to 1.1, brilliant green 0.03 to 0.3, polyvinyl alcohol 0.03 to 0.3, surface-active substance 0.1 to 1.0, water the rest. Also proposed is a method for preventing and treating infectious diseases of hooves in cattle and small ruminants.
EFFECT: high penetrability of the composition into the affected tissues of animals.
