FIELD: furniture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to furniture fittings and can be applied in manufacture of furniture. The hidden furniture tie bar for detachable connection of two furniture parts consists of a rod configured to be partially screwed into the face of the first furniture part by means of the external thread on the screwed segment, a latching element located at the end of the rod opposite to the screwed segment, connected with the rod by a deflected tab with at least one toothed protrusion, and a cylinder with an external thread configured to be screwed into the end of the second furniture part, with a longitudinal through hole, or a longitudinal blind hole configured for the toothed protrusion of the rod therein. When connecting furniture parts, the rod is secured in the hole of the cylinder, wherein the latching element, when moved inside the cylinder, is deflected to the cross-sectional centre of the cylinder, returning to the initial position when the parts are mutually locked, hooking onto the rim of the cylinder if the hole in the cylinder is made through, or onto protrusions or recesses if the hole in the cylinder is made blind. Detaching is possible when pressing the tab by any object with a thickness enabling said object to access the latching element, through the gap at the point of connection of the face of the first furniture part with the end of the second furniture part.
