FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to means for improving access of microelements to plants. A complex of metal and ascorbic acid with the general formula MO(OH)z(Asc)x·yH2O, where M is metal that is titanium or vanadium; Asc is C6H7O6, x is an integer from 1 to 4; y is an integer from 0 to 5; z is 0 or 1; the molar ratio of M and Asc ranges from 1:1 to 1:4, is used for biostimulation of plants and reduction in the probability of occurrence of plant pests and pathogens, where pests are selected from a group consisting of hidden rapeseed moth, corn moth, red-breasted pyavica.
EFFECT: proposed complex of metal and ascorbic acid provides access of vanadium and titanium metals to plant cells, thereby increasing the resistance of plants to infection with pathogens such as Alternaria brassicae, Botrytis cinerea, Cladosporium herbarum, Septoria nodorum, Gibberella avenacea, provides increased photosynthetic activity, increased enzymatic activity to stimulate nutrient absorption, increased yield, increased resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses, increased synthesis of more flavonoids.
