FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: drive of a hybrid car contains an internal combustion engine, a synchronous electric motor and a gear transmission with a differential for driving two wheels, a battery with a current inverter and a control system with an on-board computer. Electromagnetic clutches are installed between the internal combustion engine, synchronous electric motor and gear transmission. An electric motor with permanent magnets has been adopted as the optimal variant of a synchronous electric motor. Controlling the speed of the car by changing the frequency of the current feeding the electric drive and the charge current by influencing the control system on the throttle valve with the internal combustion engine servo allows using two pedals familiar to the driver to accelerate and brake the car with one electric motor or in combination with an internal combustion engine, charge the battery when driving at a constant speed and when the car is stopped, provides energy recovery when braking the car.
EFFECT: simplified design and increased efficiency of the hybrid drive.
