FIELD: automobiles.

SUBSTANCE: automobile umbrella relates to the field of technology and production of automotive products and is intended for protecting the body of a car from the impact of negative factors, such as: heating by sunlight during hot weather, precipitation in the form of rain, snow, or hail, falling fruits and branches of trees. The automobile umbrella consists of a base whereon two pairs of folding legs are secured, and the frame of the automobile umbrella. The legs with a bracket are secured on the base of the automobile umbrella by means of a threaded rod and cap nuts. All elements are interconnected in series by hinge mechanisms. The base, frame, and legs of the automobile umbrella are made of aluminium materials, therefore the structures of the automobile umbrella are durable but have a low weight. The frame elements are made from sections of aluminium shaped pipe of a certain size, fastened together with mounting plates by means of pop rivets. Transformation from the folded to the unfolded state is executed by means of the threaded rod passed through the connected eyelets of the plates and fixed by means of the cap nuts. A protective tent is secured over the frame of the automobile umbrella, the automobile umbrella in the unfolded form stretches the tent and protects the body of the automobile from negative factors. Stretch cords attached to the frame of the automobile umbrella and equipped with hooks for securing the automobile umbrella on the roof of the automobile by the wheel arches and(or) by the rear view mirrors of the automobile ensure secure attachment of the unfolded automobile umbrella on the roof of the car. The automobile umbrella in the folded state occupies little space and is stored in a case in the trunk of the automobile, if automobile umbrella needs to be used, it is brought into the working state and installed on the roof of the automobile on the folding legs.
