FIELD: computing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for forming a power-efficient track of an operated vehicle when driving along a motorway. The system for forming a power-efficient track during movement of the vehicle along a motorway comprises at least a server, an operated vehicle, and at least a second vehicle. The server comprises at least a server processor and a memory containing the program code prompting the server processor to perform actions of the method for forming a power-efficient track during movement of the vehicle along a motorway, when executed by the server processor. The method consists in performing at least the following stages: the stage of obtaining a first power-efficient track of the vehicle, the stage of determining the second vehicle located in front of the operated vehicle in the course of movement of the operated vehicle along the motorway and obtaining the power-efficient track of said second vehicle, the stage of forming a second power-efficient track of the operated vehicle based on the speed profile of the operated vehicle and the estimation of the power efficiency of the operated vehicle when driving the operated vehicle in accordance with the power-efficient track of said second vehicle, the stage of comparing the obtained second power-efficient track of the operated vehicle with the first power-efficient track of the operated vehicle in order to form a control signal for assigning a power-efficient track to the operated vehicle, and the stage of assigning a power-efficient track to the operated vehicle. The assigned power-efficient track is selected between the first power-efficient track of the operated vehicle and the second power-efficient track of the operated vehicle.

EFFECT: increase in the power efficiency of movement of the operated vehicle when driving along a motorway is achieved.
