SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for determining the orientation of a space vehicle based on signals from navigation satellites. In order to determine the orientation, radio signals are emitted by navigation satellites with known parameters of the orbit, commands to receive signals from selected satellites are formed and issued on the space vehicle, signals corresponding to the issued commands are isolated from the total signal of all navigation satellites, provided that the corresponding satellites are located in the field of view of one of the antennas of the receiving apparatus, the coordinates and orientation of the space vehicle are determined in a certain way.

EFFECT: accuracy of determining the orientation determination is increased.
