SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a tool holder containing a collet chuck (300) and a tool adapter (500-504). The collet chuck (300) comprises an inner cone (310), a flat surface (311), and an external thread (230) for a clamping nut (401). The tool adapter (500-504) comprises an outer cone (320) complementary to the inner cone (310), wherein the collet chuck (300) comprises fasteners for the tool adapter (500-504), independent of the external thread (230) and the clamping nut (401). Said fasteners comprise one or several radially located or inclined internal threads (315) and a clamping pin (210) in each internal thread (315), wherein one or several recesses (317) interacting with said clamping pin or clamping pins (210) are provided in the tool adapter (500-504).

EFFECT: high reproducibility of installation of the adapter in the collet chuck and ease of fastening thereof in restricted spatial conditions are achieved.
