FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the area of electrical engineering, particularly to wind diesel power units. The technical result is achieved by the wind-diesel power unit containing a wind turbine connected with an alternating current generator, a rectifier, a charge-discharge controller, an accumulator battery, an inverter and additionally including a direct current electrical engine with a mechanical transmission for rotating the wind turbine body relative to the mast, an anemometer and a wind direction sensor connected to a combined control unit, a diesel engine with a direct current generator operating in engine mode for actuating the diesel and in generator mode for recharging the accumulator battery, and a combined control unit of a wind-diesel power unit.
EFFECT: technical result consists in simplifying the design of a wind-diesel power unit and in continuous operation thereof.
