SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the area of hair cutting apparatuses. The apparatus for cutting hair comprises an external and an internal cutting components. The internal cutting component is driven via the first connecting element by means of a drive spindle. The first part of the spindle is configured to be driven by a drive. The second part of the spindle is connected with the internal cutting component and comprises a second connecting element. One of the first and second parts of the spindle comprises a supporting element. The other one of the first and second parts of the spindle comprises a supporting surface configured to interact with the supporting element. The supporting surface is located at an angle α to the tangential direction relative to the axis of rotation. The force applied by the first part of the spindle to the second part of the spindle has a component parallel to the axis of rotation and directed toward the internal cutting component. The first and second connecting elements are therein configured to transfer the component from the second part of the spindle to the second connecting element. The invention also includes an apparatus for cutting hair.
