Composition of means for personal hygiene contains from 0.1 wt. % to up to 10 wt. % betaine surfactant, from 0.1 wt. % up to 5.0 wt. % lactic acid, from 0.1 wt. % up to 20 wt. % polyatomic C₂-C₆ alcohol, from 0 wt. % up to 10 wt. % alkylpolyethoxycarboxylate of formula RO(CH₂CH₂O)_kCH₂COO⁻M⁺, where R is C₈-C₂₂ alkyl, k is integer from 0 to 20, and M is a soluble salt-forming cation, from 0.1 wt. % up to 10 wt. % PEG4 of rapeseed amide, >8 wt. % alkyl ether sulphate, from 0.1 to 10 wt. % metal salts, water, wherein pH is 3.8–4.5 and total surfactant content is 10–20 wt. %. Also disclosed is a method for providing a local bactericidal effect on the skin surface, a method for stabilizing the pH of the skin surface, method of skin surface microbiome or microflora stabilization, skin surface moistening method.
