SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to brake linings for disc brakes, which is used in rail vehicles, especially during high-speed movement. Brake lining is characterized by the fact that the friction segment has a metal base, which is coated on its entire surface with friction materials and on the lower side of which there is a locking element securing the friction segment. On the lower side of the metal base for fastening the friction segments on the locking element, a retainer for this locking element is installed. To increase reliability of locking the locking element design of the retainer has a crown, a neck and a rim. Rigid fixing element for the locking element is installed between the crown and the rim through the hole of the fixture into the neck of the fixture and through the locking element.
EFFECT: higher reliability of friction elements attachment; increase in the service life of the brake lining of the disc brake, including during the movement of rail vehicles at high speed; higher resistance of brake lining to high temperatures; higher braking force, which allows to increase the permissible speed of the rail vehicle.
