FIELD: metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of metals by pressure and can be used for isothermal reverse extrusion of forgings in the form of hollow bodies, in particular bodies of rotation, for example hemispheres, cups, sleeves made of various alloys. The stamp contains a punch, a matrix with a cavity and a guide cylindrical cage that covers the outer surface of the matrix with a radial gap between them. The gap ensures the movement of the cage relative to the die without jamming during the isothermal stamping process and does not exceed the tolerance value for the unevenness of the gap between the outer surface of the punch and the walls of the matrix cavity. The punch is installed in the mounting hole of the cage. The cage with the punch and the matrix can be installed in the muffles of the stamping block with gaps in the axial and radial directions. The mentioned gaps are preserved when heated to the temperature of isothermal stamping.
EFFECT: as a result, it is possible to increase the overall dimensions of forgings in plan and height and simplify the design of punch tools.
