FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to the transmission of electric power by alternating current, namely to the power transmission lines of high or ultrahigh voltage. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that in a power transmission line, one of the phases of which is made in the form of two parallel operating half-phases, wherein one of the half-phases in emergency modes is used as a standby phase, while in the middle part of the line, longitudinal compensation units are connected to the normal operating phases. Balancing of post-emergency modes is carried out by deactivating the corresponding devices of longitudinal compensation. With regard to reliability of the proposed circuit, in case of stable damage of one of the half-phases, it is switched off, and the line switches to operation in the post-emergency mode with the possibility of transferring at least 50 % of the power of the initial maximum mode. In case of stable damage of normal operating phase, it is switched off, and instead of it one of half-phases is switched on in post-emergency mode.
EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of mode balancing and increase of line capacity in comparison with traditional line.
