FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a dental composition and use thereof. Disclosed composition contains 10-50 wt. % of a first matrix component based on methacrylate, a polymerisation system and, as a second matrix component, 1-40 wt. % of a compound having general formula (I),
,
wherein n = 2, R = O and R' is (Ic) or (Id). Also disclosed is the use of said dental composition as a dental restorative material, dental adhesive, dental cement, material for pins and stumps, intracoronal material or material for intermediate part in fixed partial dentures.
EFFECT: use of the composition enables to obtain a dental material having low shrinkage stress during hardening, while maintaining good mechanical characteristics.
