SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a tire for an agricultural vehicle. Tire (1) comprises crown reinforcement (3) containing at least two layers (31, 32) of crown, each of which includes metal reinforcing elements, which are coated with elastomeric material. Each metal reinforcing element of crown layer (31, 32) has a relationship, called a bimodule relationship, which causes its elastic properties during stretching, and comprising a first portion having a first tensile modulus MG1 not exceeding 30 GPa, and a second portion having a second stretching modulus MG2 at least 2 times greater than the first stretching modulus MG1. Each metal reinforcing element of crown layer (31, 32) has a relationship which determines its behavior during compression, which is characterized by critical deformation of loss of stability E0 equal to at least 3 %.
EFFECT: longer life.
