FIELD: fire protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for delivering materials to a selected location. To deliver materials, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), a container for transporting materials are used, the UAV is placed in a transport aircraft, the UAV is transported in a transport aircraft to a position near the selected location, a remote pilot is assigned with the possibility of communication with the transport aircraft to control the UAV, the route, instructions and certain data are loaded into the UAV navigation system for the possibility of landing at the selected airfield, the UAV is released from the transport aircraft on command from the remote pilot, the UAV is directed to the selected location for dropping materials. After the materials are dropped, operations are performed to return to the selected airfield under the control of the UAV autopilot and its navigation system.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of fire extinguishing is provided.
