FIELD: car industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an extrusion system and a method for extrusion of an extrudate reinforced with cords, in particular for tire components. The extrusion system contains an extrusion head with flow channels for receiving extruded material from the extruder, a matrix for receiving extruded material from flow channels, and a cord guide for directing cords next to each other in the plane of cords into the matrix. The extrusion head is made with an insertion groove that passes in the insertion direction parallel to the plane of cords through the extrusion head. Flow channels exit into the insertion groove in the flow zone, wherein the insertion groove is made with the possibility of receiving the matrix and the cord guide in the direction of insertion, respectively, at the location of the matrix located behind the flow zone and the location of the cord guide located in front of the flow zone relatively to the direction of insertion.
EFFECT: obtaining an extrusion systems for tire components.
