SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optoelectronics, lighting engineering, devices emitting in the visible and infrared ranges. It can be used for the development and production of sources with a controlled radiation spectrum in medicine, technology, and everyday life. Proposed is a multispectral controlled LED radiation source having an externally cylindrical internally hollow housing with a window for radiation output. A multi-channel light-emitting structure is formed inside the housing, each channel of which has an LED emitting in the size of its window l in its spectral band with the radiation divergence angle ἁ. Inside, the hollow surface of the housing is made in the form of two spherical segments, the first and second, of the same radius R, each centered at the point of the polar center of the opposite spherical segment. The centers lie on the axis of the cylinder-body. In the pole of the first spherical segment in the wall-thickness of the housing, a through cylindrical window with the aspect number parameter A >3 for radiation output is made. In the wall-thicker body of the second spherical segment symmetrically relative to its polar center around the circumference, landing nests are made. An LED is placed in each of the sockets. The total number of LEDs is N, including emitting and excitingly emitting ones with a phosphor applied to them. A mirror-reflecting coating is applied to the entire surface of the inner cavity of the housing. The following ratios are established for these parameters: R ~ 2Nl(sinἁ)-1 and A ~ 3ctgἁ.

EFFECT: expanding the spectral range, controlling spectral characteristics, increasing the efficiency of photonic transformations.
