FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: package is presented that contains a lower part containing a plurality of tobacco products wrapped in a protective layer containing a segment that forms an opening for extracting tobacco products when the package is open. The package also includes a lid pivotably attached to the bottom between the open and closed positions and comprising a front wall with an inner surface and a lid front wall flap folded along a fold line relative to the lid front wall. Attached to said segment is a label containing a portion attached to the lid so that when the lid is pivoted to the open position, said segment rises to reveal said opening. The lid front wall valve is configured so that the label portion is attached not to the lid front wall valve, but to the inner surface of the lid front wall. The portion of the label attached to the lid comprises a tongue the width of which is less than the width of the front wall of the lid located between the opposite side walls, the tongue being at least partially surrounded by a flap of the front wall of the lid.

EFFECT: packaging according to the invention ensures proper retention of the group of cigarettes by preventing the group of cigarettes from being "shaken" within the cigarette package.
