FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an emergency electric switch containing a thermomagnetic drive. Device comprises yoke (6), which along its entire circumference is spaced from inner surface of housing (1) and is surrounded by heat-insulating ring (10), which is continuous along its entire circumference and, on one side, rests on the inner surface of said housing (1), and on the other side, on said yoke (6). Armature (2), at least on that side, which faces the closed end section of said housing (1), is provided with a central through axial passage, and on its opposite side facing said yoke (6), located in the center with a cavity, wherein said passage in anchor (2) is configured to receive heat-insulating guide (9) introduced between anchor (2) and housing (1), while said cavity is configured to receive a portion of said spring (3) facing anchor (2), but not the portion of spring (3) that faces yoke (6). Besides, between bimetallic disc (7) and drive needle (5) there is heat-insulating bushing (11).
EFFECT: technical result is increase in speed of reaction of thermomagnetic drive in emergency electric switch.
