SUBSTANCE: invention relates to needles for hand sewing in needlework, embroider and darning. Technical result is achieved by the fact that the needle for manual sewing comprises a rod with a half-eye, one end of which is sharpened, wherein it is equipped with an additional rod with one sharpened end, on one side of one of the rods a toothed thread is made, sharpened ends of the rods are made as a whole and form a single pointed end of the needle, the rods are installed with maximum abutment to each other, wherein toothed thread of one of the rods adjoins the other rod to form a row of additional half-lugs on the line of rods adjoining to each other.

EFFECT: easier suture insertion into the needle.
