SUBSTANCE: invention relates to needles for sewing by hand in needlework, embroidery and darning. The expected result is achieved by the fact that the needle for sewing by hand consists of a rod with a pointed end on one side and an hole on the other side, and it is equipped with additional holes made along the entire length of the rod or in the central part of the rod, occupying at least half of its length, while the holes are located on the rod in a spiral order, in rows or chaotically.

EFFECT: preventing the needle for sewing by hand from slipping between the user’s fingers and ensuring that the thread is installed on a significant section of the needle rod.
