FIELD: metals pressure processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of metals by pressure, in particular to tooling used in sheet stamping. The die for bending sheet material contains the bottom and top plates. A hinged punch in the form of a quadrangular prism is fixed in the upper plate, made with the possibility of adjusting the bending angle. A matrix is provided in the form of two semi-matrices, each of which has a support part with a radius surface and is rotatably located on an axis. The matrix is made of a composite plate, assembled in a package with a gap between them and ensuring mutual overlap. The distance between the axes of rotation of the semi-matrices A is determined by the ratio A=2R-c, where R is the bending radius, c is the size of the mutual overlap of the plates.
EFFECT: technological capabilities of the die are expanded by expanding the range of possible angles and bending radii.
