FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to designs of helicopters with counter-rotation systems. Helicopter (1) includes fuselage (2), rotor (4), counter-rotation system (10), tail boom (50) connected to fuselage (2), keel (6) and tail plane (7) protruding cantilever on both sides of said keel (6). Counter-rotation system (10) is made integral with tail boom (50) and comprises power supply unit (15), second screw (17) connected to said power supply unit (15) for rotation with a first variable angular speed, and third screw (25) connected to said power supply unit (15) and operating by means of said power supply unit (15) for rotation with a second variable angular velocity.
EFFECT: providing a level of redundancy in the counter-rotation system without detriment to the possibility of controlling the yaw angle of the helicopter in each operating condition, reduced cross-section, total drag and weight of helicopter.
