FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to design of aircrafts with vertical take-off and landing. The vertical take-off and landing aircraft comprises a first propulsion unit configured to generate a first thrust directed along the first axis, a second propulsion unit configured to generate a second thrust directed along the second axis, a third propulsion unit located between said first and second propulsion units along the specified first longitudinal direction (Y). The first motor unit and the second motor unit can be operated independently of each other. The first axis and the second axis are inclined towards each other relative to the first longitudinal direction (Y) and fixed relative to the aircraft. The third propulsion unit creates, in use, a third thrust along a third axis inclined with respect to said first longitudinal direction (Y) at a third angle (β).
EFFECT: provides flight characteristics comparable to convertiplanes, while simplifying the design and reducing weight.
