SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automotive industry. The method for attaching a tag to a rubber-based product is as follows. Provided are a rubber-based product, a tag including one surface layer, one primer layer, one adhesive layer containing unsaturated rubber, and at least one component for radio frequency identification. Contact is then made between the adhesive layer and the non-vulcanised rubber-based product, and the rubber-based product is vulcanised. During vulcanisation, the adhesive layer forms cross-links with the rubber in order to thus form a permanent connection between the tag and the rubber-based product, thereby attaching the tag to the rubber-based product.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of attachment of the tag on the rubber-based product.
