FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns a patch device for radio frequency identification - RFID for tires, designed to be applied to the inner layer of the tire before or after vulcanization/ curing of the tire and containing an innovative flexible multilayer planar structure, including the patch device itself RFID (1A, 1B, 2, 3) for tires, substrate (12A, 12B, 22, 32); a first insulating layer (13A, 13B, 23, 33) covering the first portion of the substrate (12A, 12B, 22, 32); an RFID chip (14A, 14B, 24, 34) and a first antenna (15A, 15B, 25, 35) that are connected to each other and located on the first insulating layer (13A, 13B, 23, 33); a second antenna (11A, 11B, 21, 31A-31B) which is electromagnetically coupled to the first antenna (15A, 15B, 25, 35). The RFID chip (14A, 14B, 24, 34), the first antenna (15A, 15B, 25, 35) and the second antenna (11A, 11B, 21, 31A-31B) lie in the same plane. The second antenna (11A, 11B, 21, 31A-31B) is a spurious radiator. The second insulating layer covers the first insulating layer (13A, 13B, 23, 33), the RFID chip (14A, 14B, 24, 34), the first antenna (15A, 15B, 25, 35) and at least partially the second antenna (11A, 11B, 21, 31A-31B).
EFFECT: improvement in the operational characteristics of the tire.
