FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, specifically to devices simulating real parameters of a satellite communication channel with an outlet towed antenna device (OTAD) in the UHF range. To this end, the device has an FPGA which accurately reproduces the non-stationary features of the satellite communication channel with the OTAD based on the mathematical model of the real communication channel and owing to formation of the response of the satellite communication channel to the input action.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of noise immunity of the device by providing correct estimates of signal-code structures when testing satellite communication modems.
