FIELD: communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to ensure the reception of signals from satellite communication and navigation systems in the decimetre wave range (200-400 MHz, 1.2 and 1.6 GHz) by mobile marine objects and autonomous uninhabited underwater vehicles using cable antennas. The intended technical result is achieved by the fact that the output towed antenna device incorporates low-noise amplifiers (LNA) connected directly to the output of the antenna elements, while the signals from the output of the LNA are fed to an optical modulator and then broadcast over a fibre-optic communication line (FOCL) , from the FOCL, the signals are sent to photodetectors (PD) and then to an analog-to-digital converter (ADC); as well as a control module that performs adaptive formation of a multi-sector radiation pattern in digital form.
EFFECT: increase of noise immunity and throughput of receiving communication channels with mobile marine objects (MMO) and autonomous uninhabited underwater vehicles (AUV).
