FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely, to manufacture of a sheet of electrotechnical steel with an oriented grain structure. The method for manufacturing a sheet of electrotechnical steel with an oriented grain structure includes hot rolling of a slab for producing a hot-rolled sheet, annealing of the hot-rolled sheet, cold rolling of the annealed hot-rolled sheet, decarbonising annealing of the cold-rolled sheet, applying an annealing separator containing aluminium oxide as the main component and MgO in an amount from 28 to 50 wt.%, and finishing annealing of the decarbonised annealed sheet. The applied amount of the annealing separator is 6.0 to 14.0 g/m2 per surface of the decarbonised annealed sheet.
EFFECT: losses in the sheet of electrotechnical steel are reduced.
