FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to springing of vehicles. The apparatus for springing vehicles comprises a hollow cylindrical body with torsion compression springs, a thrust ring, and movable disks placed inside said body. A hollow casing is rigidly connected with the upper part of the body. A first eyelet for connection with the vehicle frame is attached to the external side of the body of the casing along the axial line. A second eyelet for attachment to the vehicle bridge is rigidly attached to the lower end of the movable rod. A first spring is secured on one side with the body, on the other side with the first movable disk equipped with a right-handed thread. A second spring is secured by one end with the thrust ring, and by the second end is secured with the second movable disk equipped with a left-handed thread. The rod passes through the first spring, through the holes in the body, through the second spring, and the thrust ring. Both springs are placed so that the first spring would twist in one direction and the second spring in the other direction. The movable rod is provided with a right-handed thread in the upper half, with a left-handed thread similar to the thread of the movable disk in the lower half.
EFFECT: smoothness of the movement of the vehicle and the elastic properties of the shock absorber are improved.
