SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for measuring rate of chemical reactions and can be used to measure dissolution kinetics of carbonate samples. Device for determining the reaction rate of substances using a gasometric method comprises a flask-shaped reactor from a housing and a cover, a rock container fixed on a rod, and a gas outlet tube with a pressure sensor, wherein the container is made in the form of a vertical mesh cylinder for filling with ground carbonate rock of the required mass and has ribbed plates of vertical arrangement on the outer side, cylindrical rod upper part is hollow and has a hole between the acid composition level and the cover upper part for the acid with rock reaction gaseous products discharge into the connected to the rod gas discharge tube, gas outlet tube is equipped with a check valve for releasing the gaseous reaction product into the atmosphere, the rod with the container are in a fixed position, and the reactor is fixed on the centrifuge and rotates at a constant specified angular speed to create the effect of mixing the acid composition in the reactor, the connection point of the rod with the reactor cover is sealed with a gland seal.
EFFECT: providing the same conditions for conducting laboratory experiments at different weight proportions of carbonate rock and acid composition for a short period of time.
