FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of measuring quantitative content of dissolved gas, in particular, hydrogen sulphide in oilfield fluid under pressure in well flow line, gathering line, capacitive equipment or water line. Method of determining hydrogen sulphide concentration in pipeline oil under pressure consists in sampling oil at pressure drop down to atmospheric value, bubbling of said sample or part thereof with fixation of extracted hydrogen sulphide by chemical method. APG released during fluid sampling is supplied to gas-collecting chamber with volume measurement. Weight amount of hydrogen sulphide in collected volume of APG is determined by any acceptable method, for example, colorimetric method flowing part of APG through indicator tube H2S – 0.0066 according to TU 12.43.01.166-86. Concentration of hydrogen sulphide in collected sample of oil or other fluid containing hydrogen sulphide is determined by formula summing the weight of H2S in liquid and gaseous phases of sample and referring the obtained sum to the volume of liquid sample in atmospheric conditions.
EFFECT: technical result is highly accurate measurements of quantitative presence of hydrogen sulphide in field oil or water.
