FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device includes a remote control switching element installed in a break of the power transmission line at a given point for dividing the power transmission line into sections, a current sensor, a voltage sensor, a cabinet door position sensor, a local control unit, a device for receiving and transmitting data. An information processing unit is connected to the above units, which processes and compares data, generates control commands and identifies the reasons for disconnection of the switching element.
EFFECT: provision of sectionalization of power transmission line with improvement of controllability and reduction of time of interruptions in power supply to consumers in case of emergency outages of power transmission line.
