FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to controlled mechanisms for providing functions of orthopedic products intended for prosthetics of lower extremities. Shock absorber includes housing (1), inside of which there is hydraulic cylinder (10) with piston (4) with one-sided rod (3). Cylinder (7) with floating piston (6) is interconnected by channels (15, 16) passing through controlled hydraulic throttles (11, 12) with control mechanisms (2), with rod chamber (13) and through the first check valve (35) with piston chamber (14). Balancing channel (29) connects rod chamber (13) and cylinder (7) bypassing adjustable hydraulic throttle (11). Separate channel (18) connects cylinder (7) with piston chamber (14) through second check valve (26). Main channel (17) connects the rod chamber through first additional check valve (25) arranged at the inlet to rod chamber (13) with piston chamber (14) through controlled hydraulic throttle (12). Second additional check valve (28) is arranged inside piston (4). Floating piston (6) in cylinder (7) is spring-loaded on one side and with projecting part (30) on the other side.
EFFECT: smooth operation, providing the possibility of independent fine adjustment of the speed of flexion and extension, as well as an increase in the reliability and resource of the knee module are achieved.
